Amy Meier’s small
home lacks a foyer,
so she made her own.
Next to the front door,
she tucked a big
basket for boots arid
shoes, a tray for keys
and mail* and a peg
rack made from an old
railroad tie. Nestling
the peg rack into the
artwork display helps
it blend unobtrusively
into the living room.
